Spring is in the air

Oh how I am ready to get outside and stay there. We have had some nice teasers the last couple of weeks. This Spring/summer/fall we are planning to update the outside of our new house. We have done some work to the inside, but are SO excited to get the outside settled. So I amgoing to post some of the before pictures and keep posting as we get things done. Noah and I dug out one small tree and 4 dead shrubs from the front. I am no green thumb, but excited for the blank canvas. We recently had 5 trees removed from the yard. One was just to the right of the front door. It was a nice tree, but completely covered the front door and hid the house. In the back yard we had 3 evergreens removed from the left side of the deck. We have plans for a new deck and we are going to make it a little bigger than the original, so we needed the expanding room. We had one more removed from in between the brick outlines. It basically had no branches left and blocked the view. Our first house had hardly any yard, so I am just so excited for cookouts and play time. The pool should be open sometime mid-April to early May. We are going to convert it to a salt water pool. The pool is a very new thing to me, so I am going to have to learn how to take care of it. If anyone has any experience with the pool thing, or salt water vs. chlorine suggestions and opinion are welcome!

2 years ago today

I was huge and working in Labor and Delivery. They sent me home because they caught me contracting (I was trying to hide it.) So I went home and we packed our bags but I didn't want to go because we deal withfalse alarms daily and I knew my evil co-workers would not let me live it down!:) About 11:30 I had a contraction that woke me up. Noah helped me out of bed and we walked into the bathroom and my water broke. We called Mammy and she came over to be with Kyntli and we set out for the hospital.

Denise met me there and I was 6cm. Got my epidural and started pitocin at 3:30am. At 4:51 am Crew Thomas Willard was placed in my arms! I remember that day like it was yesterday. Crew was not planned, but he was by far the best surprise I have ever recieved!

His first year seems like a blur, He had to have surgery at 9 months old at OU Med Center. Nothing emergent, but surgery non-the less.

His second year was full of ear infections and asthma. We finally got tubes in October. In Decemberwe were hospitalized for 3 days for a abcess. My wish is that he will stay away from the Doctor for this next year! He is loads of laughs and LOVES his Mommy. He is all boy loves to run and jump. He loves to sing and dance. Elmo is what we are into now. I cannot believe he is 2. I don't know where the time is going, but I would give anything to freeze time for a while. My kids bring so much Joy, Laughter and Love to my life. They are a lot of work, but SO worth it! I am so lucky to have a job where I only have to work 3 days a week, and get to spend 4 days a week with them. I cherish every moment I get with them, because Life really is short.

New Year!

Okay, so last year didn't go so well with the Blog. Time to start fresh. We had a very busy 2010. Noah and I purchased our first "flip house" we sold it within 1 month of owning it. The next month we sold our first house and moved to a new one. We stayed in Chickasha, but gained about 1000 square feet, a huge backyard and an inground pool. We are very excited to get into that this summer!!!! Noah is doing well at the Bank. Sandy is still in Labor and Delivery at Norman. Kyntli Started school and dance class.

Our Baseball Trip this year was to Chicago. We went to see the Cardinals (of course)

against the Cubs. We had a great time with our friends. We missed our Kiddo's like Crazy!

We are excited about 2011 and all of

the new and exciting things that is in store.............

Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial Day! The kids and mommy went to stay with Mima and Papa Thursday through Sunday. We got to spend time on the farm, and Papa and Mima got to do their typical spoiling! Haha When we came home on Sunday Daddy missed us so much he got us a pool so we could play in the backyard! Memorial Day was spent in that pool! We cooked out,


and put our sunscreen on and had a blast. The kids were tuckered out and asleep by 8:40! Crew is starting to smile on demand! SO HILARIOUS! Kyntli loves to water the flowers, in fact the first words she said to Noah when we got back "Daddy you did not water our flowers! They are dead! Ha! We are attempting our first garden and have over 10 tomatoes so far! Kyntli says that her watering them will turn them red! We are just excited Mommy hasn't killed them yet! We had some really bad weather, fortunately for us they skipped over Chickasha! No hail or tornado damage for us. Next up for us is Mommy's birthday weekend. Noah and I are heading to Dallas again this year for some serious R&R!!!!

First Trip to the Farm!

The weather finally cooperated and we got to make the first trip out to Mima and Papa's farm this past weekend!

We had a big cookout all day Saturday. In the evening Mima had saved some boxes from the water heater and Papa pushed them down the hill on the boxes! It was so fun

and before it was over everyone was getting in on the action. I think we all slid off the box at one time or another and got

Little while for Crew to understand it was fun and not scary, but he caught on! The next morning we got up and all went to Church Kyntli, Crew and Mima played in the nursery and Noah, Sandy and Papa went to church! We had such a fabulous weekend

and can't wait to go back up there!!!!!

Easter

Easter was so fun this year! Mima and Papa came down and we colored eggs and went to the church carnival where Kyntli took a pic with the Easter Bunny! I was shocked no tears! (no smile either though! :) On Easter Morning we got up and opened our baskets and went to Church. Kyntli is still not doing so well with the nursery, so she sat with us. She stayed awake for the singing but slept in my lap for the Preaching. We went to Mammy and DanDan's to hunt eggs and have lunch. It was a fun and exhausting day. Kyntli was into hunting the Easter eggs, Crew just watched the other kids run and laughed at them. It's amazing how things
have changed since Easter of 2008!It was only 2 years ago and we had a 4 month old and were about to get pregnant again. Then there was Easter 2009.I remember dressing them up and taking pictures with Crew in his car seat because he couldn't sit up. Braxton was not even here yet! Makes
me sad when I think about all of the time and moments we are going to share,
but how quickly it will be gone.
